How do I get my child enrolled in your school?
You need to get the school prospectus which has the application form and information brochure from the school office. Alternatively, you can also download the admission form from here.
If you have downloaded the admission form directly from our site, this fee is payable at the time of depositing the form.
For any queries in the application form, please refer to the school office.

SJIS extends a warm welcome to all prospective parents/guardians/ students seeking admission in our school. We are a co-educational school, and are affiliated to CBSE syllabus. Here, you will find answers to some of the commonly asked questions:
Do you accept new enrollments in the middle of an academic session?
We understand that sometimes the child has to relocate, and this may not necessarily happen at the start of an academic year. Mid-year admission applications are accepted on a case to case basis. You may contact us as soon as you intend to enroll your child at SJIS.
What is the age criterion for seeking admission in SJIS?
Junior KG: 3 + (as on 31st March)
Senior KG: 4 +
Std. I onwards: 5 +
What is documentation required for admission?
A copy of Birth Certificate, four passport size photographs of the student and two passport size photographs of the father & mother.
Medical certificate form, duly filled and signed by a medical officer also needs to be submitted to complete the admission process.
If the child is to join Class I or higher, Transfer Certificate (TC) along with reports from the previous school.
Is my child required to take an admission test?
If the child is to join Class I or higher, an assessment is conducted. Reports from the child’s previous school are required for this assessment. Only upon satisfactory completion of this, admission is offered to the child.
Do you admit students with special needs?
SJIS accepts children who can meet the expectations of their respective curriculum using the support available. We do not at this time offer the full scale special education programs as mandated by law for educational institutes. We have very limited resources to support students who may require major staffing, curriculum, or assessment modification due to severe learning, physical, and/or behavioral disabilities. All decisions regarding acceptance of children with special needs are made on a case-by-case basis.
Till what standard can my child study in your school?
Our school has classes from Kindergarten to Standard VI.
What are the school timings?
Pre-primary Section: 8am to 1:30pm
Primary Section: 8am to 1:30pm
Secondary Section: 8am to 1:30pm
Which curriculum or board do you follow?
Our school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE] and prepares students for the national level examinations of the Board syllabus.
Who manages this school?
The school is managed by the Believers Eastern Church, Delhi Diocese.
Can we visit the school to see the infrastructure and facilities?
Yes, you may visit the school on Saturdays during the first half, and someone from our office staff will gladly escort you and give an introduction to the school.
What are the different activities that you have in this school?
Our professional coaches and instructors introduce children to various activities from the primary section. Some of these activities include art and design, dance, music, physical education, social care, carom, chess, cricket, football, etc.
Does the school have a transport service for the children?
Yes, we do. Our buses run on 5-6 different routes and cover a radius of over 20-30 kilometers everyday.
